- Greetings.
-
- I'm running up against the 16MB XMS limit in HIMEM.SYS: I've got 20MB
- RAM in my PC, but Himem (hence Windows) can only see 16MB of it, so
- 4MB is being wasted.
-
- I've been told that there's an undocumented feature involving Himem
- and Ramdrive, so that, if nothing else, I can use the 4MB above 16MB
- for smartdrv and/or ramdrive (for setting temp=).
-
- Does anyone know how to do this? the solution is supposed to be
- available via KnowledgeBase, but the stuff on the Developer's Net
- CD-ROM isn't recent enough.
-
- Thanks for any help.
