  11. I am looking for a decent way to convert WIN 3.1 help-files (.hlp extension) to
  12. text. A lot of public domain programs contain only these .hlp-files, and it
  13. would definitely be a lot easier to convert them to a text-file in order to
  14. have a good look at them than to browse through them with the help-engine. And
  15. grabbing the various help-screens doesn't solve my problem. I did that, but
  16. it's a very awkward way to work.

  18. So, if anyone could send me some information concerning a utility that could
  19. take care of this conversion, I would be eternally thankful...
