  14. When I started to use LISREL, I found the LISREL Manual to be helpful 
  15. although very difficult to follow.  A VERY GOOD book is by Barbara M. Byrne 
  16. (1989) called A Primer of LISREL: Bsic assumptions and programming for CFA 
  17. models.  That, is, if you are using LISREL for CFA models, it is great. If, 
  18. however, you are planning on conductingstructural Equation Models, the book 
  19. is still helpful, although you may need further references
  20.
