  22. TESOL Journal is preparing to publish a special issue in the fall
  23. of 1993 on the topic of technology in TESOL.  Advertisements and
  24. calls for papers for this special issue have appeared in a number
  25. of TESOL publications since last spring with a due date of Feb 15.
  26. That due date has been extended to March 15, 93.  I want to
  27. encourage all of you on the TESOL-L network to consider submitting
  28. an article, classroom tip, or review to the TESOL Journal related
  29. to this subject of technology in TESOL.  If you are not currently a
  30. member of TESOL and have not seen the call, nor have a copy of
  31. TESOL Journal to refer to, please contact me directly.  Cynthia
  32. Holliday and I are co-editing this special issue and want to enlarge
  33. the pool of available submissions to guarantee that we have the
  34. best possible material to draw from.  There are many of you on this
  35. network who are doing cutting edge work with old and new
  36. technologies.  There are many others who have all kinds of
  37. concerns about the impact of these technologies on our practice.
