  15. In answer to Jeri (UT, Austin), Terri and Maurizio's project (U of Utah) goes
  16. beyond the Local Area Network.  Apparently, NEWS is an international network
  17. that gives access to the target language country and to the native speakers
  18. --around the world-- of the language being studied.  This is the beauty of the
  19. whole project!...  One such netwrok in French, for instance, is FROGTALK:  on
  20. this network, you can communicate with French speakers around the world. Quite
  21. exciting, I must say, with topics of discussions that are very French,  real
  22. cultural experiences for American students if they had access to the network.
