  11. I found your article on using NEWS for teaching purposes to be very
  12. interesting.  User friendly?  Maybe.  Have you read an upublished
  13. dissertation by Peggy Beauvois using a LAN for teaching French?  We
  14. will be more successful as language instructors if allow students to
  15. choose to learn language that is meaningful for them and which allows
  16. them to pursue individual learning goals.
