- Subject: How to select a platform for SAS ?
- Lines: 18
-
- Hi,
-
- I have 'volonteerd' to write a article in our little local SAS user group's
- magazine about selecting a platform for SAS. The question I want to address is
- how the Hardware/Software platform to run SAS on has to be selected.
-
- Say I have MVS, VM, RISC/6000, PC/DOS, Windows and OS/2 with SAS available,
- which criteria's should be taken into account to select one of the above
- platforms for a given research project.
-
- What are your opinions on this subject ? Are there any (SAS) publications about
- this subject availble in print or FTP ?
-
- Any comments are welcome,
-
- Regards,
-
- Dirk
