  12. I recently installed PC-SAS version 6.04 on an IBM PS/2 L40SX with
  13. a 386SX processor and 4MB RAM.  PROC ANOVA and PROC GLM work fine
  14. but when I try a moderately large factorial model in PROC GLM I get an
  15. insufficient memory message.  From the instructions in  the SAS/STAT
  16. manual I calculate that this problem should require about 1.2 MB of RAM.
  17. I use HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.SYS as memory managers and I've tried this
  18. problem with both 512 K expanded memory and with 2048 K expanded memory.
  19. Can PC-SAS use expanded memory for PROC GLM's matrix manipulations?
  20. Any suggestions on ways around this problem would be gratefully received.
