  14. Publish or perish, per se, is not the problem.  As I see it, the problem
  15. is composed of two (perhaps inseparable) components.  First there is the
  16. p & p component.  But compounding the problem significantly is the fact
  17. that the journals and other avenues refuse to publish non-significant
  18. results.  Seems to me that the development of a "true science" is as much
  19. predicated on wide dissemination of what doesn't work as it is on the
  20. wide dissemination of what does work.
