- There are umpteen quadbillion studies that have been done using prisoner's
- dilemma (PD) games. It isn't necessary to use a kit - you can do it
- yourself. A few references worth looking at if you want to put together a
- bargaining exercise are:
-
- Dawes, Robyn M. Rational Choice in an Uncertain World, Orlando, Florida,
- Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1988.
-
- Dawes, Robyn M. Social Dilemmas. Annual Review of Psychology, 1980, v.31,
- 169-193.
-
- Murnighan, J. Keith, Bargaining Games: A new approach to Strategic Thinking
- in Negotiations. William Morrow and Sons, 1992.
-
- PD games are very interesting and a lot of fun...as long as you aren't
- thinking of writing a paper about the results. The relevant literature is
- huge. If you have any other questions, let me know.
