- I did a study where I interviewed kindergarteners. I needed to know SES,
- but rather than ask the children, I had the parents fill out a brief form
- when they signed the permission slip for me to interview the child. I asked
- other questions about the child that the child could not reliably answer,
- as well.

- As far as how did I measure SES, I used a gross measure of how much schooling
- did the parents have, but you could also ask about occupation and use the
- Hollingshead ranks.
