  15. I am helping to prepare a questionnaire which will be distributed and
  16. completed by a bunch of schoolchildren, grades 4-12.  My problem is that
  17. we need some sort of SES measure.  The last time we did this, we used
  18. a weak proxy measure, and I'm not sure of it's validity and/or reliability.

  20. Can anyone suggest anything?  It can't be a direct question of family SES,
  21. since the younger kids might not know.
