  24. Adobe doesn't support any scanners directly through PhotoShop, but instead
  25. does it through their PSAPI (commonly known as the PhotoShop Plug-in).  This
  26. leaves the ball in the court of the scanner maker.  The scanner maker writes
  27. a custom acquire module for their scanner based on this spec and PhotoShop
  28. supports it.  Some scanner makers who bundle PhotoShop go ahead and put their
  29. plug-in in the PS box and make it install with all the other PS plug-ins.

  31. My guess is that Logitech has written a plug-in for PhotoShop since the spec
  32. is so widely used (other software now uses the PSAPI spec too:  Fractal
  33. Paint, ColorStudio, et.al.).  First contact them and see, if that doesn't
  34. work call Adobe, (415) 961-0911, and maybe they can help.
