  16. A colleague of mine at a community college learning resource center
  17. who is not on the Internet has asked that I post this request on
  18. her behalf.  Her administration wants a rationale for placing an
  19. open access computer room and a general-purpose computer
  20. instruction lab under her purview in the LRC.  The alternative
  21. would be to place this dual facility under the aegis of an
  22. instructional department elsewhere on campus.  She needs pro and
  23. cons for her rationale.
