- read donna tartt's book last fall after the globe and mail (canada's national
- newspaper) gaving it a glowing review. i found it a compelling read, and a very
- impressive debut. i did, however, have a number of editorial problems, and felt
- that she could have used a decent editor to separate the chaff.
- ie- the epilogue: should of been completely removed except for the
- final page, a brilliant and mesmerising passage.

- constructed book i have yet to see.
