- I would like to add my two cents worth on this topic. I think that the
- comments were a little harsh.
-
- Many folks do not have good access to the hardware and software necessary
- to access the Internet. Without this access, practice and use is very
- limited. Most folks do not have time to stumble through the Internet with
- the patron waiting for the information. It is a catch-22 situation: until
- the hardware and software becomes more available, reference will not be
- using the Internet. Without use, the hardware and software is not
- necessary.
-
- Kathy Schulz brought up a good point about time constraints. I will admit
- that I am not able to spend the time I would like to working on learning.
- I also do not have telnet access to ftp or reach out as much as I wul
- would like to have the opportunity. It is now 9:30 p.m. in Texas and I
- am finally getting around to responding. Could be a serious problem for
- soem folks.
-
- Be patient with those of us who are learning and working.
