- project over considerable opposition from my Department Head who feels I
- should be doing more worthwhile things than playing on the Net.

- I believe this is the real discussion. Right now, because we do have so
- much to do, I count on our director to take the flack and to run
- interference for me while I get on for 15 minutes in the morning to peruse
- the mail, and then as necessary to sove reference requests.
