- Some of us non-Internet for immediate reference answers types are
- actually envious. How 'bout letting us into the "club?" I would use
- Internet much more, but it seems like you almost need to know the
- secret handshake to find anything, :-). I will be won over if you can tell
- me where to start. I can find things on how to use e-mail, and have
- learned some very useful tips. But it seems impossible to learn Internet
- without having your own computer at home, which much to my regret I do
- not.
-
- On the Internet perusal as a legitimate use of on-duty time, many libraries
- are understaffed all or part of the time. Add to that the constant struggle
- to get enough time on a terminal/computer that can access Internet, and it
- is clearly not so much a question of willingness as it is of opportunity.
-
- Just my two cents...
