- No kidding, guys. I just got bitten by IBM's failure to follow this
- very principle. The FTP client does you the "favor" of generating
- a SITE FIXRECFM=fb etc. etc. command when you PUT to another site.
- In this case it was an MVS site, but the site is running a completitor's
- TCP/IP and it doesn't like the SITE command, and therefore aborts
- the FTP session.

- When I complained about this, someone reminded me that this is what
- the SENDSITE (toggle) command is for. Eh? You mean Joe Ftpuser has
- to remember to issue a command (that is not obvious or even mentioned
- in an upfront place) before trying to do something *normal*?
