  9. Environment is TCP/IP 2.2.1 runing under MVS/XA.

  11. We have found a need to have 2 Telnet servers running under MVS.  Our current
  12. server connects all users to our network solicitor (NVAS).  We have a new
  13. need for people to connect and instead of getting the NVAS screen, to be
  14. connected directly to the CICS running our NOTIS library system.

  16. One possibility that doesn't look like would work would be to run a second
  17. Telnet server in the TCP/IP address space using a different port number.
  18. This server would be associated with a different set of VTAM options including
  19. a different DEFAULTAPPL parameter. Am I correct that this will not work?

  21. A second possibility is to run a second TCP/IP address space, with a different
  22. IP address, and use SNALINK to connect it and the primary TCP/IP together.
  23. The primary TCP/IP would act as a gateway for the secondary TCP/IP and the
  24. Telnet running in it.  Would this work?

  26. Is there an easier way that I have missed?  Thanks in advance for any
  27. comments, suggestions, etc.
