- Following modes are allowed in Euro72:
- EURO72: Productivity
- 640x400 (OSCAN: 680x400), 70Hz non interlace, max depth: 2bit ECS, 8bit AGA
- EURO72: Productivity Interlace
- 640x800 (OSCAN: 680x800), 70Hz interlace, max depth: 2bit ECS, 8bit AGA
-
- Following modes are allowed in Super72:
- SUPER72:Lowres
- 400x300 (OSCAN: 448x3??), 72Hz non interlace, max depth: 4bit ECS, 8bit AGA
- SUPER72:Lowres Interlace
- 400x600 (OSCAN: 448x6??), 72Hz interlace, max depth: 4bit ECS, 8bit AGA
- SUPER72:Highres
- 800x300 (OSCAN: 896x3??), 72Hz non interlace, max depth: 2bit ECS, 8bit AGA
- SUPER72:Highres Interlace
- 800x600 (OSCAN: 896x6??), 72Hz interlace, max depth: 2bit ECS, 8bit AGA

- The calculation is simple:
-
- KHz = Hz * Lines * 1.1
- (not mathematically correct, but quite handy)
-
- Lets say, you want to display 1000 lines. Due to vertical blanks etc, you must
- consider ~1100 lines for the monitor to scan. If you now want, for example, a
- non interlaced 60 Hz display, you get/need 66KHz. For interlaced display, simply
- halve that value.
-
- The horizonal resolution is determined by the pixel clock (computer side) and
- video bandwidth (monitor side)
-
- Calculation:
-
- MHz = Hz * Columns * Lines * 1.2
- (not mathematically correct, but quite handy)
-
- Again an example: 1000 x 1000 pixel with 50Hz n.i. gives a bandwidth/pixelclock
- of 60MHz.
-
- Hopes this helps more than it confuses.
