  16. For a piece that I am writing need to provide a word description of a
  17. Sanborn Map.  I know what it is, and have used them, but am not able to
  18. describe it in a meaningful way.  Can someone provide an "official"
  19. description so that my readers will have an understanding what it is.  In
  20. final version, we may include an illustration of one, but I still need to
  21. describe it in words.  All help would be appreciated.
