- At East Carolina we are using a file cabinet that is made to store CDs. It was
- a hand me down from the music library who bought it to store their music CDs.
- It is just like a regular file cabinet only the drawers are the height of CDs.
- We also acquired surplus from music library two smaller files. One is about fou
- r feet high and can store CDs running the long way down the side of the cabinet
- one CD deep. The other cabinet is a sort of media storage thing on wheels (nice
- wood grain, etc). It has 12 drawers for CD storage in the normal way (case fro
- nt) and eight drawers to store CDs flat about three or four deep in little boxe
- s. Again this was purchased by the music librarian to store music CDs and appa
- rently is some sort of standard media storage (Brodart?). I think the standard
- CD file cabinet is the best way to go. It looks like a regular file cabinet. T
- he other two cabinets are sort of weird to store in. The media thing on wheels
- is pretty to look at and will store lots of CDs. Sort of looks like an operatin
- g room gadget trolley.
