- Oh, isn't debate wonderful?? How refreshing it is to realize that we, as
- interested educators (although not all of us are in the "school
- business"), can discuss, review, propose, conjecture, and disagree about
- many issues in educational technology!
-
- I applaud all my friends on this discussion list who take issue with what
- we might say sometimes. While we may project a thought in some original
- or reply post, we may find that the rebuttal that is forthcoming has an
- angle in it that escaped our original thought. Isn't this great???
-
- What a dull and boring world it will be when we just accept everything at
- face value! My students (most of them, at least) understand -- and word
- gets around pretty fast -- that I plan to disagree with some position they
- take SOMETIME during the semester. At first they may not realize that I
- don't REALLY disagree with them; I just want to make sure they truly
- believe what they profess. Too, I expect them to feel free to engage me
- in the same type dialogue.
-
- School is about much more than just exchanging facts!
-
- Thanks to all of you who add flavor to this experience!
