  14. Jonona--part of the dilemma of public/private, sacred/profane is that all
  15. we appear able to reach (operant) consensus on is teaching the ethics and
  16. values of job-holding.  It won't do as a means (or reason) to hold us to-
  17. gether, and parts of our individual persons even fly off in opposite direc-
  18. tions.  Even presidents can't escape.
