- S T U D Y W A R N O M O R E !
- -----------------------------------
-
- o If the Cold War is over, why is the military still a huge
- source of scholarships and jobs? Will Congress change this?
-
- o What programs on my campus are funded by the right wing and
- the Department of Defense and what are these programs for?
-
- o My campus is dead politically. How can I break thru the apathy?
-
- o What are some connections between masculinity and war?
-
- o How can I encourage my campus to work on economic conversion
- and nonviolent conflict resolution, instead of war technology?
-
- If you've been asking any of these questions, the University
- Conversion Project (UCP) may be able to help. Founded in 1991 by
- activists who opposed the Gulf War, we are a national clearinghouse
- for campus peace organizing. UCP provides research and organizing
- advice and a quarterly newsletter packed with resources. Access
- the collective experience of successful activists at dozens of
- schools. When in Boston, please visit our library, but call first!
-
- Send a SASE or FAX for more info, or $3 for a sample "War Research
- Info Service" newsletter, internship information, and a list of
- military contracts & connections at your school. That's:
