  13. As a current librarian, I can assure you that if you are interested
  14. in working in a public library, your skills will be in demand. I do
  15. not think that an academic library has quite as much call for ASLers,
  16. saving those institutions that serve a population with a high
  17. percentage of Deaf.  (NTID and Galluadet are two... but you might
  18. consider working in a lower level school system which serves the
  19. Deaf.

  21. ASL qualifies as a second language. People with extra languages are
  22. wanted. Don't let the naysayers get you down...
