- Angelique N Wahlstedt <pepper@SHELL.PORTAL.COM>:
- ...But I've never quite fit in many deaf communities for various
- reasons...but I don't quite fit in the "hearie" world, either
- (despite the fact that I have hearing friends and almost always
- have hearing boyfriends).
-
- Angeli, would you be willing to tell me and the list a little more
- about what you mean when you say you "don't quite fit in the 'hearie'
- world"?
-
- I've been (or at least felt like) a misfit at times, but it's never
- seemed to have anything to do with my deafness. The world is a huge
- and diverse place, after all, and precious few people (hearing or
- deaf) fit in _everywhere_.
