- I've wondered it myself and I'm sure that others on the list have
- a technical response. However, I've connected mine directly to
- the phone line and don't hear the beeps any more at all (unless
- I pick up an extension phone and listen to the TTY conversation. ha ha)

- BTW, who gets the TDI newsletter? I like the new proposed abbreviation
- and I think I'll adopt it: TTP which stands for That Telephone Thing.
- With a little practice, it'll be as easy to spell as TTY... easier, even!
