- This reminds me of a discussion we had locally recently about listserv
- software. We use the package PMDF (for Vaxes running VMS) and it is an
- extremely reliable and flexible package.
-
- As we evaluate what we want out of email, we are looking at all possible
- options. In the listserv area, what is there which
-
- - runs on Unix
-
- - is reliable
-
- - has lots of features (database, multiple channels, automatic handling
- of almost everything, extensive help... and the other things that seem
- to only exist in unreliable beta-test Unix listservs :-)
-
- Perhaps people would care to comment on what they use at their site, how
- extensively it is used and how rugged it seems to be. I am particularly
- interested in comments from or about the large sites.
-
- Thanks,
-
