  17. Our CSG conferences - What's happened over the years is that we
  18. have become a close family, and the sense of closeness is something
  19. very special.  As a very practical person with a non-scientific
  20. mind, at first I was at a loss and overwhelmed by what was being
  21. talked about.  It was the patience and kindness of the scientists
  22. in the group that helped me not only to understand PCT, but feel a
  23. part of the CSG.  It has been with the help of others that I've
  24. been able to take PCT and use it in my own day to day work both as
  25. a consultant in schools, corrections, etc. and in my counseling
  26. practice.  What I'm trying to say is that it never occurs to CSG
  27. members to look down at someone because of their limited abilities
  28. or understanding of CSG or to segregate them into another group.
  29. Everyone accepts you and respects you, even as they differ or
  30. challenge what you say, but urging you along, showing all kinds of
  31. confidence in your ability to learn more.  A mutual respect and
  32. need for each others talents for the benefit of all has grown
  33. evident over the years.  For those like myself, that's a powerful
  34. experience.
