  16. We will be installing the DRA circulation module this fall and their
  17. lack of an adequate recall function is a real concern to us.(We have
  18. extended loans to grads and faculty and recall approx. 80 items per
  19. day)

  21. Our current procedure (an in-house system), when an item is recalled
  22. automatically becomes due in 5 days.  We also suspend privileges when
  23. this item is 1 day overdue.  We would like to continue this procedure
  24. as it works well for us.(Aside from the fact that there would be a war
  25. if we shortened these peoples loan period to 2 weeks.).

  27. My question is this:
  28. Is there someone else using DRA and how do you get borrowers to return
  29. recalled items when the date due remains the same and no penalty invoked?
  30. OR is there a way around this problem?
