- We will be installing the DRA circulation module this fall and their
- lack of an adequate recall function is a real concern to us.(We have
- extended loans to grads and faculty and recall approx. 80 items per
- day)
-
- Our current procedure (an in-house system), when an item is recalled
- automatically becomes due in 5 days. We also suspend privileges when
- this item is 1 day overdue. We would like to continue this procedure
- as it works well for us.(Aside from the fact that there would be a war
- if we shortened these peoples loan period to 2 weeks.).
-
- My question is this:
- Is there someone else using DRA and how do you get borrowers to return
- recalled items when the date due remains the same and no penalty invoked?
- OR is there a way around this problem?
-
- You may respond to me directly if you wish to

-
- Thanks in advance.
