  11. On the boneheads track,
  12.    When he was just a pup, young Arnold put down a plan for himself that
  13. basically went something like:  get huge, be a movie star, & marry a
  14. glamorous & intelligent woman.  Well, against all odds, the guy did it.
  15. That takes a certain level of dedication, planning, & brains which not many
  16. people match.  How many actors seem to be off to decent starts, choose
  17. 1 too many bad movies, & find themselves confined to the discount rack of the
  18. video store?  Arnold chose the right vehicles & turned himself into a hugely
  19. popular figure.  For that matter, Maria Shriver, from what I've heard of her,
  20. is no dolt - I doubt she would opt to spend the rest of her life with a
  21. sputtering idiot, no matter how much money he makes (like money's a concern
  22. of hers, anyway).
  23.    As for the political jibes, well, I don't think it's right for me to express
  24. my political views, one way or the other, on government time through a govern-
  25. ment machine.
