- Michael--Actually the credits of Scent of a Woman do mention the Italian
- film though if I recall correctly they used the term "inspired by" which
- suggests that the Pacino film is not a strict scene for scene remake
- from foreign to English version. Someone can jump in if they have further
- clarification.

- In that regard, I'll be curious to see the new Richard Gere/Jodie Foster film
- to see how closely it uses The Return of Martin Guerre. When I saw its
- trailer in a theater, I recognized its cinematic predecessor right away.
