  11. Has a western ever won the Oscar for best picture?  It just seems that the
  12. genre, along with animation and science fiction, is prejudiced against by the
  13. Academy Awards every year.  If that's so, "Unforgiven" might not win the best
  14. picture award.  But then again, there's always the first time.
