- Actually, Jim, in the matter of HItchcock remaking Man Who Knew Too Much,
- you're concurring with the conventional wisdom that the remake was a pro-
- tracted error. I've noticed the opinion's been changing in some quarters,
- in recent years. I myself have gone up, down and up on the Stewart-Day
- remake, but have such vague memories of the original, I wouldn't presume
- to be firm about a comparative opinion myself. And since the last time I
- couldn't stand Day warbling "Que Sera," I've gotten an appreciation both
- of her acting and her singing that's much more respectful. So I don't
- know what my reaction will be next time I see the remake... Jeff Clark
