- Some of the vendors, such as Silver Platter, offer search software for
- both DOS and MAC.
- For the CD-ROMs that offer only DOS search software you can still use the
- CD-ROMs by using DOS emulators on the specific operating systems. For
- UNIX there are programs such as VP/ix, Merge 386, SoftAT. For the MAC
- there are programs such as SoftAT. Under OS/2 the search software can be
- used inside a DOS box. For more information on this topic get a copy of
