  15.         and I thought we were the only ones having mameory problems with
  16. the new software.
  17.         We initially had version 3.26 of this software which was used only
  18. for Inspec. When we had 3.3 a couple of months ago, we found that it ran
  19. out of memory all the time. A call to UMI informaed us that 3.3 uses LESS
  20. memory than 3.26 so we spent ages checking the rest of our system.
  21. Eventually we PROVED that it uses a vital 34k MORE memory.
  22.         Thanks a bunch, UMI.
  23.         And now ABI has turned up with the new software and we can't run
  24. that either.
  25.         Does anyone have ANY suggestions re: getting more memory available.
  26. The standard config of users' PCs is a 640k 88/286 ( we can live with slow
  27. access as long as we have SOME access ).
  28.         So far I'd give UMI's helpline 2 out of 10.
