  18. No, I'm not sure.  I'll check if I can.  (Visions of angry librarians
  19. chasing me out of the library.)  Most products like this have a "patron"
  20. mode that locks you into selected functions and won't let you drop to
  21. disk.  A quick look at the disk (if they were running Microsoft CD-ROM
  22. Extensions) would tell me whether it was Clipper or some other dBASE
  23. product.  Thanks for the tip on GOVDOC-L.

  25. I've been very surprised at how little information seems to be available
  26. on CD-ROMs.  I guess the Internet is a lot more exciting ...
