- finding some 1730s sources -- David Levy, Suzanne Gibson, Arthur J.
- Weitzman and Diana Patterson. It seems there just aren't a lot of
- novels out there, but your ideas and leads have at least given me a new
- direction to think about. Do you think Delariviere Manley's _New
- Atalantis_ and _Queen Zarah_ are too early to compare with Haywood's
