- I wasn't thinking of orthographical variations; I accepted
- those as a matter of course. I was struck more by the style
- of the piece, and the comedic pacing, which seemed more
- modern I've seen so far in the other 18th century items that
- have crossed my desk. Since this number is relatively
- small, my question to those of you with more experience is
- still, "Is this piece unusually good for its kind, or merely
- typical?" In other words, is it worth the effort to find
- out who wrote this, or am I letting my own predilection for
- lowlife farce and parody get the best of me?
