- i've got the reverse problem: i usually find noise reduced recordings to
- be unlistenable since the high frequency ranges are all gone. the hiss
- problem may be solved, but the music sounds much duller and muted without
- those missing frequencies (i know that's not how dolby works, but that
- is the net effect).

- however, i'm not as distraught by the idea of noise reduction as bob
- here seems to be by the thought of no noise reduction, so i relinguish
- my preferences in the sight of his much stronger ones.
