  15. Postdoctoral fellow needed to direct a funded project studying molecular
  16. mechanisms underlying human prostate cancer.  Approaches include
  17. identification of point mutations by PCR-SSCP, direct sequencing of ss and
  18. ds PCR products, in situ hybridization, and preparation of cDNA libraries
  19. for tumor-specific genes.  Experience in one or more of the following areas
  20. is strongly encouraged: cancer genetics, sequencing (esp. experience with
  21. automated sequencers), preparation and screening of cDNA libraries in
  22. lambda gt11-based vectors, and PCR.  Excellent opportunity to become team
  23. leader and to establish track record for independence.  Seeking only mature,
  24. ambitious candidates able to work both independently and collaboratively in 
  25. large medical center.
