- Postdoctoral fellow needed to direct a funded project studying molecular
- mechanisms underlying human prostate cancer. Approaches include
- identification of point mutations by PCR-SSCP, direct sequencing of ss and
- ds PCR products, in situ hybridization, and preparation of cDNA libraries
- for tumor-specific genes. Experience in one or more of the following areas
- is strongly encouraged: cancer genetics, sequencing (esp. experience with
- automated sequencers), preparation and screening of cDNA libraries in
- lambda gt11-based vectors, and PCR. Excellent opportunity to become team
- leader and to establish track record for independence. Seeking only mature,
- ambitious candidates able to work both independently and collaboratively in
- large medical center.
