- I have always advocated that if a child of any age wishes to be able
- to do something that it is perfectly legal for any one who is "of
- age" to do, that he or she should be able to do so if he or she can
- convince a judge (or better yet a three member panel of arbitrators
- where the child picks one, the people opposiong the child's action
- choose another and those two together choose the third) that that
- child understands the consequences of the action they wish to take
- and is willing and able to bear full responsiubility for any
- possible ensuing consequences.
