- While we are on the subject... Have you heard about the bicycle-jacking
- that occurred a couple of months ago in Pacific Heights in San Francisco?
- A guy was riding his bicycle sometime after midnight when three guys
- pushed him off of his bike so they could steal it. The bicyclist pulled
- out his handgun and shot one of them through the heart. He died and
- the other two were apprehended and charged with manslaughter because
- someone died due to a crime they commited. The bicyclist fled (I guess
- he didn't like police) and was never identified. While all of this
- was happening, someone else drove up and took the bicycle.

- Since this incident, no other bicycle-jackings have been reported in SF.
