- George, tell us, what is it you *do* like about this place?
- If this is one of your *favorites*, ....
-
- I save good/interesting postings, and I have *lots* of yours,
- because you have lots of useful things to contribute to ba.food.
- There must be something about this place that makes it your favorite
- besides what you posted.
-
- This is different than Homemade on Hollis, right? (On Hollis in
- Emeryville)
-
- How about (in no particular order): Bette's Oceanview Cafe (4th
- Street in Berkeley), Fat Apple's (MLK?), Rick & Ann's (across from
- the Claremont); Westside Bakery & Cafe.
-
- Kathleen's Doyle Street Cafe sold some time ago and the food isn't
- nearly as good any more. Homemade on Hollis has been so inconsistent
- that we don't go there any more.
-
- How about Val's in Hayward? It's a legend as an old-time, old
- fashioned burger place, but they serve breakfast too. And then
- there's Max's in San Ramon.
