  24. Carmel, Carmel Highlands (past Point Lobos, which is a must-see), 
  25. then about 30 miles to Big Sur, then Nepenthe/Ventana, Lucia (nice 
  26. cabins and good restaurant), Pacific Valley (featureless motel with
  27. good view, nonmemorable restaurant), Gorda (cute store/coffee shop)
  28. Ragged Point (magnificent view, nice motel, pretty awful
  29. coffee shop/burger stand), Piedras Blancas (very '40's motel
  30. and coffee shop that I haven't eaten at in 20 years...), San
  31. Simeon, Cambria.
