- Having responded to a discussion on "The Limits of Democracy", I was
- already on the mailing list of the ADR and have received some brochures.
- I am interested and in broad agreement with the directions of ADR, but I
- have a couple of questions:
-
- 1. Why was the word "Alliance" chosen as part of the name? An
- alliance of what/whom?
-
- 2. On page 5 of the brochure there is a sentence "ADR's policy is
- that State Governments should be abolished". This is not
- presented as being part of the Core Platform. I'm not asking for
- a defence of this policy, but I would like to know the status of
- this policy, and, more generally, what is the difference between
- "policy" and "platform".
-
- Thanks. I hope we see some more discussion here.
