  25. oh, so sorry.  but not everyone has been reading this group as long as
  26. you have.  short-term memory is all i have so far.  if there's such
  27. desperate need for a FAQ in your opinion, you'd better throw some effort
  28. into it yourself, instead of blasting the firat innocent trying to
  29. improve his understanding of the language.

  31. this explanation of apostrophe usage was quite new to me.  no-one else
  32. i've ever mentioned it to had heard of it.  it sounded plausible to me,
  33. but i wanted some more information before i decided to store it under
  34. "facts" in my mind, if you will.  did i misjudge the potential of this
  35. newsgroup?  is it merely for flaming others for using grammar different
  36. from yours, spelling words incorrectly by accident, or trying to separate
  37. fact from fiction?  i thought perhaps someone here might have some modicum
  38. of knowledge about the matter.  or at least intellectual curiosity.  perhaps
  39. i was mistaken.
