  24. of the most recent Steve Allen book.

  28.     Years and years ago, when I was a prisoner of the public education
  29. system, the school lunch program had these little cartons of milk.  One
  30. day, the people producing these cartons decided to start putting what
  31. they considered useful information on the Cartons.  Their first attempt
  32. was to put Steve Allen's picture on one side and fun steve allen facts
  33. on the other side.  I remember this mainly because it was the early 
  34. 80's and it hurt my brain at the time why anyone would put someone like
  35. Steve Allen on a milk Carton.....and because Steve was on the cartons
  36. for what seemed like years.  In the end, steve was driven off the milk
  37. cartons in favor of nutritional brainwashing and/or science trivia.

  39.     But now, thanks to MST3k, I know the truth.  That Steve Allen
  40. invented Photos on milk Cartons.
